Multiple recipients

Postby develtec » Tue Aug 21, 2012 10:00 am

I have the following recipients:

$Owner.email
$Submitter.email
$_SOwner.email

The last recipient is not working. Is there a character issue or something?

The recipient come across as:

From: SourceOneClearQuestAdmin@emc.com
To: derek.nielsen@company.com,
derek.nielsen@company.com,
$_SOwner.email

Try surrounding the variable with curly brackets and see if that works, otherwise it may be something to do with the variable starting with underscore.

So try:

${_SOwner.email}

The parser expects field names to start with alpha character. A workaround is to use GetFieldValue function to get the field value, i.e.

Code: Select all

$Owner.email
$Submitter.email
GetFieldValue('_SOwner.email')

The function is available in version 1.6 or later. In previous versions, you can create user-defined function with the same name

Code: Select all

    my $name = shift;
    my $value = '' ;
    eval {
      $value = $entity->GetFieldValue($name)->GetValue();
    };
    $@ = '';
    return $value;
