Bypassing rule based on field modified

Postby f0rty6n2 » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:48 pm

First, let me say I am new to the email noticiation package and CQ in general, so I apologize in advance if this is a "stupid question"

I have a general defect change notification that is sent. One of our user groups would like to bypass this rule if particular fields are the only things modified in the change. My limited knowledge makes me think that I would have to specifiy all the fields that do qualify in the Field Change, but that is dozens of fields and something tells me there is an easier way that I am missing.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Jason,

It is not completely clear, but it might be that the best way would be to check modified field names in user defined function that can be used in condition field of the notification rule(s).

Regards,
Pavel
